Be Strong and courageous
We had a bunny decoration on our door since it’s coming up on Easter season. All of a sudden it didn’t feel right considering the “stay at home” order for COVID-19. I asked Stella (9) to create a replacement image to put on the door during this time. Last night, after picking out the scripture by herself, she put the paper up on the door and I was proud she chose such a great piece of God’s word.
This morning, it was especially poignant. I had a biopsy done today for a random bump near my c-section scar. It’s likely endometriosis and nothing to be concerned about, but “biopsy” is such a scary word – it means there’s still an unknown. And unknown is scary.
As I was leaving this morning for the biopsy, I stopped to take this picture and spent a moment with the scripture. God’s word is so soothing during times of uncertainty. I read the scripture and thanked God for His protection. Biopsy went fine and I’ll courageously await the results!
Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the LORD your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.
