Challenge: Pick one thing in your surroundings that reminds you of God.
Today I challenged the kids to really think about their choice. Well, they were ready to go with their answers, which at first I balked at, but then decided that as long as they talk about God, does it really matter? Is there really a wrong answer?
(when school was in school)
Stella’s answer was Sweet Swirl! The frozen yogurt place down the street. She said, “Sweet Swirl is the best thing on earth and God is the best thing and created all things, so God created Sweet Swirl!”
Well… I guess… Sure!
Vivian’s Turn… and her pick was TV!
Before she had a chance to explain, Stella said, “We are addicted to t.v. when we SHOULD be addicted to God!” True that!!!
Vivian changed her mind and chose water.
She said, “It comes from God, helps us to stay healthy, and gives the animals a place to live with the sea.”
Well done Vivian. Much better choice than TV. Ha ha.
