Kids View 4/3/20

Challenge: pick something each day that reminds you of God.

Today was so heartwarming for me as both kids had scripture (without me prompting) to go with their picks! So impressed!

Vivian was first to answer with SKY! She said the sky reminded her of God because it was beautiful and God created it. She said that the sky was so important, that he created it on the second day!

“And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so. And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.” Genesis 1:6-8

Here are some fun videos of us playing in the sky with my new amazing octopus kite that was a birthday present from Ryan. Stella named her Shelly. I added Tatiana Tako. So her full name is Shelly Tatiana Tako (Tako is Japanese for octopus). She makes me happy.

Stella had a funny answer today: Flamingos!

Stella said that flamingos were her pick because God made them beautiful. She brought up the following scripture when I asked her to explain her choice:

“He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.” – Ecclesiastes 3:11
