Challenge: Name one thing that reminds you of God today.

Today the kids were READY TO GO! I love it!!!

The kids have really embraced this challenge. Stella was getting technical, since she had already chosen “tree” earlier last week. She wanted to specifically choose a palm tree for today. She had been wanting to choose palms on Sunday, for Palm Sunday, but I told her no because she and Vivian were fighting over choosing palms, which is the opposite of the point of this exercise. So, today I said she could get away with choosing a palm tree 🙂

She said that palm trees remind her of the palms the community laid down for Jesus as he arrived in Jerusalem. And also that palm trees remind her of God creating all things.

Vivian wanted to choose a peacock. She said that God made peacocks soooooo beautiful and that only God could’ve come up with a peacock!

Well done girls. 🙂

And can you believe I was able to find an image of a peacock standing on some palms! ha ha!
